Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift position requiring Siemens MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in an acute care hospital radiology department specializing in MRI
  • Night shifts Monday through Friday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • No call and no weekend shifts required
  • Performs neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and breast MRI procedures
  • Utilizes Siemens Aera, Skyra, and Sola MRI systems
  • Performs a variety of MRI procedures on neuro, body, breast, and musculoskeletal cases using specific Siemens equipment
  • Initial and annual BCI/FBI fingerprinting required, with one print done onsite and another through the agency
  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with required passing scores
  • Nicotine-free status required for all non-nurse and non-CST travelers
  • Perm employees must wait 1 year before returning to work at this facility
  • Assignments at this location may not exceed 18 consecutive months; at least a 6-month break required between assignments

  • Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in MRI required prior to consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year overall MRI experience required
  • Current ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
  • Experience operating Siemens MRI systems is mandatory
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a permanent Ohio license; compact licenses accepted for starts from 1/1/23 onward
  • Two supervisory references required, one from the past 12 months and one recent travel reference if applicable
  • Negative 10-panel drug and nicotine screen within 12 months of start is required
  • License required if applicable
