About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This includes carrying out goals, policies, and activities to meet fiscal objectives, maintaining the accounting policy manual, and preparing the budget portion of the grant. The CFO will also be involved in monitoring, tracking, and record-keeping for the fiscal content area, as well as supervising front office clerks. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company should have a BA in accounting, business, fiscal management, or a related field, with a strong background in non-profit accounting methods. Familiarity with Federal Grant budget management is preferred. The role requires proficiency in office procedures, computer skills, and the ability to work with parents and community groups. The CFO will be expected to be flexible, work as part of a team, and maintain the confidentiality of records and communications. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of engaging in multi-level thinking and be prepared to physically and safely transport preschool children as part of their duties.
