We focus on digital streaming growth with a mission to become the most influential independent record label in the world. Our current goal is to hit 1 million daily streams. A video editor will help us hit this number by increasing visibility of the label and creative diversity for our ads. Role Description The Video Editor is responsible for editing long-form and short-form videos. The role is part-time 5-10 hours per week. As the label grows the role will increase in hours until it is a full-time position. The job is currently remote but will be on-site in Washington DC when the role transitions to full-time. The most important experience the editor needs is in long form-editing and short-form repurposing. The role will include extra tasks like ad creation that will be trained. The full list of responsibilities are below : Creating short-form videos that we will use in ads to promote our music Creating thumbnails for YouTube videos Posting the educational content on YouTube Qualifications Experience editing long-form educational YouTube videos Experience re-purposing long-form educational videos for short-form content Experience using captions Experience using video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc. Interest in the EDM industry Basic understanding of retention and 'viewed verses swiped away' metrics Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part-time Job function Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at spiration music by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr spiration music
