About the Role
The Company is seeking a Brand Leader for its Canopy brand, a key role in the global strategy and management of the brand within the lifestyle space. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the brand's purpose, position, and experience, and ensuring that these are consistently delivered across the portfolio. This includes overseeing the brand's global strategy, working with various teams to execute brand initiatives, and being the chief strategist and champion for the brand. The role also involves close collaboration with marketing, development, and other key stakeholders to drive the brand's performance and growth. Applicants for the Brand Leader, Canopy position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in hospitality or related industries, with a strong background in brand management and a proven track record in repositioning or launching consumer/hospitality brands. The role requires a leader who can navigate and lead through a large, matrixed organization, and who has the interpersonal and communication skills to influence and build relationships with internal and external partners. A deep understanding of the lifestyle hotel space and the ability to create an experiential, lifestyle brand is essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's, and be willing to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
