ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Pratt, Kansas.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• 3 shifts per week schedule
\n• Weekdays with some weekend coverage required
\n• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Float to ER, ICU, and LDRP units as needed
\n• Must have TruBridge (formerly CPSI) EMR experience as required by director
\n• 1-2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Kansas state license or compact license required at submission
\n• BCLS certification required, ACLS preferred
\n• Skills required: IV starts, telemetry, charge experience preferred
\n• Experience with orthopedic procedures (total hips and knees) is a plus
\n• Rural health experience preferred
\n• Care for medical surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patients
\n• Provide post-operative joint care and general medical patient care
\n• Work with patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Daily census of approximately 12 patients with 20 rooms and 23 beds
\n• Required flu vaccination with no exemptions
\n• First time travelers and local candidates accepted
\n• Must complete pre-start modules averaging 1 hour tracked in WorkRamp

\nThis regional medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing medical and surgical services to the community. The facility operates a 23-bed unit with 20 rooms and maintains interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The organization focuses on post-operative joint care and general medical patient services while maintaining a supportive environment for healthcare professionals.
