Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, current CA state license, and Cerner experience for a day shift contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a hospital nuclear medicine department
• Monday through Friday 5x8 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weekend call is required
• Patient population and caseload not specified
• Charting is done with Cerner EMR and Cerner experience is required
• No blocked or self-scheduling options are available
• Return staff must be gone at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
• No RTO is allowed within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract is strongly preferred
• All RTO must be confirmed before contract and cannot be changed once submitted
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Completion of required training modules prior to start; hours spent vary by specialty
• Scrub or dress code details not specified
• Manager may choose not to conduct interviews

\n \n Requirements\n

• Current and valid CA state license is required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• BLS and ARRT(N) certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• NMTCB certification preferred
• Must pass an EKG exam with up to 3 attempts
• Two supervisor references from the past 2 years required
• All required certifications must be in-hand at time of consideration
