Shift: Days/Shifts Vary, Every Other Sunday (NO Overnights!)

What will I do as an employee with Redstone?

• Ensure safe and appropriate transportation of residents with the facility's van or other vehicle if situation arises.
• Escort residents to and from physician visits or medical appointments. Correspond with the receptionist desk at the offices or with the care provider to ensure proper care paperwork is received and returned.
• Provide direct care needs for the clients, including transfer assistance and incontinence care, with the scope of provided training. Monitor the client for medical emergencies and respond, as appropriate, including utilizing emergency medical services.
• Loads and unloads residents and resident purchases from the vehicle.
• Provide driving support for after-hour and weekend events within the department, including Lifestyles or activity trips for all levels of care.

What do I need for this role with Redstone?

• Valid Pennsylvania State driver's license in good standing, free of traffic violations
• Be at least 23 years old with at least two years of licensed driving experience.
• Excellent driving skills with good judgement.
• Ability to lift and carry chairs, packages and other items.
