Description:

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Technician skilled in paging systems, VoIP phone systems, and UCaaS solutions. This hands-on position involves installing, configuring, and maintaining communication systems across a range of business and healthcare environments. You’ll work closely with our project and support teams to ensure every system is deployed and operating at peak performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain paging systems (Valcom, Bogen, or similar).
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot VoIP phones and UCaaS platforms (Poly, Yealink, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Perform structured cabling installation and terminations (Cat5e/6 and fiber).
• Conduct site surveys, evaluate signal coverage, and recommend system improvements.
• Test and troubleshoot circuits, cabling, and communication hardware.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and work orders.
• Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, and customers to complete installations on schedule.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in telecom installation or support.
• Proven experience with paging systems , VoIP phones , and UCaaS solutions .
• Working knowledge of networking basics (IP addressing, VLANs, switches).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments (offices, schools, hospitals, etc.).
• Fluent in English

Preferred Certifications:

• BICSI Installer or Technician Certification
• OSHA 10/30
• VoIP or network certification (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, etc.)
