The Role

The Senior Manager, Billing & Cash Management plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely billing and effective cash flow management across the organization. This position blends hands-on operational leadership with strategic oversight, driving process improvements, supporting global financial objectives, and ensuring compliance across high-volume, multi-region operations.

Key Responsibilities

Billing Operations

• Lead end-to-end billing processes for high-volume transactions across multiple regions
• Ensure invoices align with contractual terms, tax and duty regulations, and internal policies
• Review and approve billing adjustments, credits, and refunds

Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash positions and ensure timely application of customer payments
• Optimize cash flow through forecasting, reconciliation, and performance tracking
• Partner with Treasury and Finance teams to manage liquidity and banking relationships

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies
• Collaborate with IT and Global Finance teams to enhance ERP systems and reporting tools

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and external audit requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation for all billing and cash management activities

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and analyze billing and cash flow reports for senior leadership
• Track and report KPIs including billing accuracy, DSO, cash application timeliness, and reconciliation metrics

People Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of billing and cash application professionals
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in billing and cash management
• 5+ years of people leadership experience

Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial processes
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or transportation industries
• Familiarity with international billing regulations and multi-currency environments
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills

Additional Information

• Office-based role (hybrid) with standard professional work environment
• Regular sitting for 2575% of the workday
• Occasional travel (<10%) may be required
