Skybel – Company Overview Skybel is an ONLINE ENGLISH ACADEMY catering to Korean students of all ages. This international company has been servicing Korean clients for more than 6 years. The company is currently looking for teachers who can partner with it in its expansion this year. Position: Online English Teacher Skybel only hires teachers who can handle an IELTS speaking class. The pay rate is $15-$20 for a teacher who can teach IELTS. Class duration is 25 or 50 minutes. The students are mostly all adults. Sky Bell believes that investing in instructors is the first principle. Skybel is very selective with the teachers that they choose. They claim that their rate is for every 30 teachers that apply only one is hired. Keep that in mind before you apply to this online ESL teaching job. Also, make sure that you know how to teach the IELTS test. Specifically the speaking portion of it. You must be a native English teacher. The accent that they prefer the most is a British accent. You must possess at least a bachelor’s degree. One year of teaching experience is also required. Experience in teaching either IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, OPIc or Business class is preferred.
