Location: Beloit Memorial Hospital Emergency Department - Beloit, WI
Pay Range: $18.75 - 28.13/hour
Shift: 1 st and 2 nd shifts available
Schedule:
- 1 st shift - varied
- 2 nd shift - 3p-11p
Hours per week: 16 (1 st ), 16 (2 nd ) & 20 (Varied)/week

This position will:

Greet and work with patients with a high degree of customer service
Register patients and update information as necessary
Verify eligibility
Check in patients and make follow-up appointments
Collect co-pays
Perform inpatient verification duties
Enter appropriate diagnostic information, demographics, and insurance information into the hospital information system to facilitate patient care and hospital billing procedures
Ensure that patients flow through the registration process as quickly and efficiently as possible, while also ensuring all fiscal procedures are followed in a consistent manner

Required:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Registration experience
Knowledge of basic accounting processes and healthcare terminology
1-2 years of customer service and/or business office experience, ideally in a medical setting strongly preferred
