Description of the role:

The Automotive Service Advisor at Nissan Bronx is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients who bring their vehicles in for maintenance or repair. This role requires in-depth knowledge of automotive services and products, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers to understand their vehicle service needs and assist them in scheduling appointments.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about service recommendations, pricing, and timelines.
  • Coordinate service appointments with the service department and ensure the availability of required parts and resources.
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle's service and address any concerns or questions.
  • Up sell additional services and accessories based on customer needs and vehicle maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of customer and vehicle information.
  • Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure their satisfaction and address any post-service issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area, including workstations and customer waiting areas.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar customer service role in the automotive industry.
  • Deep knowledge of automotive services, repair processes, and maintenance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer centric approach.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software used for automotive service management.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or education in automotive technology is a plus.
