Medical Screener at BioLife Plasma Services Apply now for front‑line support in our plasma donation center. Job Description Take a virtual tour to learn more about our Plasma Donation Center. About The Role You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and serve as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist, supporting daily operations with a commitment to customer service and quality. How You Will Contribute Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety. Screen new and repeat donors; take and record vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. What You Bring To Takeda High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift. Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift up to 5 lbs; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance. Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90 % of tasks require prolonged glove wear. Minimum 1 year experience in a customer or patient‑facing role (helpful). Benefits include a $16.00 starting hourly wage (subject to local minimum wage requirements), 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, company holidays, 80 hours of sick time, and 120 hours of paid vacation.
