Overview In-Home Test Prep Tutor at StudyPoint. We are a national leader in one-on-one tutoring, operating in 19 markets nationwide as well as online. We have worked with more than 55,000 students since 1999, and we are seeking SAT and ACT tutors to work with students in their homes and online. Why work with StudyPoint? Responsibilities Engage and energize students while teaching Utilize and customize our proven curriculum to improve student outcomes Communicate effectively with students, parents, and employees Create a positive, safe learning environment Support tutoring sessions with a professional and collaborative approach Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience Bachelor’s degree Strong academic background Ability to tutor all sections of the SAT/ACT, including verbal and math (math includes Algebra I/II, Geometry, and some Trigonometry) Reliable car access to travel to students’ homes Typical Hours Prime tutoring hours generally fall outside of school hours and on weekends. Availability should include 6 or more hours per week and primarily be in the following time blocks: Monday–Friday 3pm–9pm; Saturday/Sunday 9am–9pm. Where we Tutor We tutor in towns in your area, including Boston, Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, Beverly, Gloucester, Lawrenceville, Lowell, Leominster, Worcester, Framingham, Providence, Attleboro, Brockton, Quincy, Scituate, Marshfield, Plymouth.
