This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.**QUALIFICATIONS:**- 3+ years of full time farm work, preferably with row crops - Solid work ethic, good communication skills, record keeping skills and team player - Current with today's modern equipment, precision farming, and auto-steer equipment - Experience in row crop, mostly corn, larger equipment, planting, and/or running a sprayer are all pluses when looking at your resume - Good mechanical and maintenance skills are needed and any additional skills of welding, fabrication, carpentry or electrical would be a bonus - Willing to train and advance skill set of a highly competent young person with good mechanical skills and a desire to farm if you have**JOB DESCRIPTION:**Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is looking for a farm assistant for a New York farm. This farm consists of 2500+ acres and is seeking a serious individual willing to work in all areas of the fam and complete the tasks at hand. Looking for someone with a good attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to succeed. Looking for someone that wants a career in Agriculture with a stable, long-term employer. Farm is flexible in off-season depending on individual's skills and/or likes, may assist with trucking, grain handling, and machinery maintenance in a fully heated shop.
