Job Description

*Job Summary*
My client is seeking an experienced Estate, Wills, Trusts & Probate Attorney to join a well-established small firm (two attorneys, three support staff). This role has an opportunity to grow into a partner position and work directly with a loyal and expanding client base.

The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment, understands the nuances of family-owned businesses, and is committed to building strong relationships with clients while delivering excellent legal work. While this is an on-site position, we understand that life happens — flexibility will be provided when needed.

* Provide comprehensive counsel on estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters.
* Handle probate court cases, including filings, hearings, and administration.
* Draft and review key legal documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
* Manage and grow a book of business — bringing existing clients or having the ability to build one quickly is essential.
* Work with clients on sensitive family matters with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
* Contribute to the growth of the firm, networking, and representing the firm in the community.
* Maintain an organized and proactive approach to billing and client communication.

Must-Have Qualifications

* Currently licensed to practice law in Ohio.
* Active practice experience in Estates, Wills, Trusts, and Probate law.

* Comfortable being in the office a majority of the time (with flexibility for personal obligations).

*Nice-to-Have Qualifications*

* Licensed to practice law in Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, or South Carolina.
* Medicaid planning experience.
* Certification in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law or Elder Law.
* Guardianship case experience.
* Additional practice areas (business or real estate law).

*What We Offer*

* Partner path potential for the right candidate.
* Support staff — and the ability to bring your own support staff if needed.
* A private office (no cubicles).
* A Montgomery, Ohio location with an established client base.
* Bonus potential based on performance and revenue.
* Medical and dental insurance.
* 401(k) retirement plan.
* Paid continuing education and bar admissions.
* 21 PTO days per year (accrued) plus 12 paid holidays.
* Autonomous, independent work environment — if you get the work done and billable, fantastic! No micromanagement.

*Compensation*

Salary is fluid and commensurate with experience and book of business.

*ADA & Equal Opportunity Statement*

This position requires frequent sitting, standing, and working at a computer. Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs may be required. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
