Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare System is supporting recruitment for a Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Fredericksburg, Texas, which is in the beautiful hill country and just an hour north of San Antonio, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:
Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained
Strong communication skills
Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills

Position Profile:
15,000 annual volume
Current 8-bed ED with 4 bed-expansion underway
24 hours daily physician coverage
Advanced Practice Provider coverage
Level IV Trauma
1099 position - up to 120 hours available
Meditech Expanse EMR
