Location: Buchanan County Jail – St. Joseph, MO
\n Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Night Shifts Available | 5a-5p Rotating Weekends
\n Vaccines: Not required

\n\n\n About the Role: \n\n

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you'll provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to address the unique healthcare needs of the incarcerated population.

  Deliver individualized nursing care based on patient needs

  \n\t

• \n\t

  Administer medications and treatments per protocol

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Monitor and document patient conditions and progress

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Work collaboratively with RNs, providers, and facility staff

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Maintain accurate and timely medical records

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies

  \n\t
\n

\nQualifications
Qualifications: \n\n

\n\t
• \n\t

  Active, unrestricted LPN license (Missouri)

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level)

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Ability to pass a background check

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Strong communication and critical thinking skills

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Correctional, clinical, or acute care experience is a plus—but not required

  \n\t
