Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst plays a key supporting role within the Business Systems team, assisting in the development, optimization, and integration of technology solutions across the organization. Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, this position focuses on understanding business needs, supporting system development projects, and learning advanced tools such as Power BI and AI to enhance data-driven decision-making. This role offers an excellent growth opportunity for a technically minded, analytical individual looking to build expertise in ERP systems, data visualization, and automation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s ERP and related business systems.
  • Assist in testing and validating system functionality, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Support and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to deliver actionable insights for various departments.
  • Participate in projects that leverage AI tools and automation to enhance efficiency and improve system performance.
  • Partner with developers to design and document system enhancements, integrations, and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in collaboration with the Business Systems team.
  • Update QMS documentation to ensure successful system adoption and utilization.
  • Stay informed of new technologies and recommend potential solutions that align with company goals.
  • Contribute to data governance, documentation, and best practices for business systems operations.
  • Performs other tasks as requested by Manager.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or related field, preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience with analysis, required
  • Experience with ABT’s business systems, data reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives, required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with report building and editing in Power BI, AI applications, and data-driven process improvement.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow under mentorship.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks or small projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
