Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP function within a dynamic investment firm. This role oversees the full accounts payable cycle, ensures timely and accurate vendor payments, maintains strong internal controls, and supports both month-end and year-end close processes. The AP Manager will supervise a small team, collaborate across finance and operations, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end AP operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and vendor relationships
• Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment batches
• Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure policy and regulatory compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close, including AP accruals, variance analysis, aging reviews, and audit requests
• Prepare AP-related schedules and documentation for external auditors
• Partner with accounting, operations, and investment teams on financial reporting needs
• Lead, mentor, and develop AP staff
• Identify and implement process and system improvements, including automation opportunities

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Experience in financial services or investment management preferred
• Strong understanding of AP systems, controls, and close processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
